Concha Morell, granddaughter of the Mallorcan painter Fausto Morell i Bellet, was born and lived in the family home Can Morell, now called Palacio Solleric, until 1940. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the Morell family was often visited by the most important intellectuals, aristocrats and artists of their time, such as Archduke Ludwig Salvator of Austria, Manuel de Falla, Joaquín Sorolla and Vicenç Furió.
In her imagination as a child, Conchita invented a parallel world called the Kingdom of Momeralia, which reflected and immortalized a lifestyle, the one from the nobility, which with the arrival of capitalism started to be in danger.
